Konishi Rattan handles rattan skin peel, a material made by splitting and sawing glossy rattan (round rattan) and adjusting only the bark to a uniform width and thickness.
It is used to make items such as bags, baskets, and chair backs and seats.
Brown-dyed rattan skin peel is made domestically by beautifully dyeing rattan bark in brown.
Because it is machine milled, it is thin and easy to knit.
