56th Handicraft Exhibition Sponsorship Information
The Japan Handicraft Guidance Association, a general incorporated foundation, is accepting applications for the 56th Handicraft Exhibition.
We will be holding an application and exhibition as outlined below, so if you make rattan products for work or as a hobby, please apply.

[ 56th Handicraft Exhibition - Open Call for Entries]

■ Application Guidelines
- All types of handicrafts are eligible, but must be original and unpublished.
- The work must be an original work and not infringe on any other rights, such as copyright or portrait rights.
- If you have used any work as a reference, you must obtain permission from the copyright holder before submitting your entry. (If you wish to disclose the name of the reference work or artist, please write it in the appealing points section.)
- Each person may submit up to two works (one application form must be submitted for each work).
- The dimensions and weight of frames and three-dimensional works must be within 3m in total (W x D x H, including the frame and display stand) and within 15kg in weight.
- Tapestries must be no more than 1.8m wide (including the pole) and no more than 3m long. However, they may be partially folded when exhibited (weight must be no more than 15kg).
- In the case of kimonos, only temporary fitting is permitted.
- If lighting equipment is used in the work, it must be LED lighting and the amount of electricity used must be clearly stated. The equipment must be powered by an electrical outlet (battery-operated equipment is not acceptable).
- Three-dimensional works must be fixed to a stand or placed in a case so that they can be moved easily.
- Depending on the material of the work, it may not be accepted. For example, live plants (fresh flowers, dried flowers, moss), items with strong fragrances or odors, items that may grow mold. (In accordance with the "items with display restrictions" of the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum)
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, and applications from overseas must be submitted through a domestic agent.

- General admission: 21,000 yen (31,500 yen for two items)
- Member: 18,000 yen (27,000 yen for 2 items)
